This is an open call process workshop for dancers, movers and actors- who want to be a part of a brand new dance theatre company in Boston! The Open Call process will lead to being invited to be an ensemble member in the company to create the first original piece. 

This is a pilot piece for the company.

 The Open Call process is entirely ensemble based with improvisational movement, strongly guided and instructed by Allison Talis- Director/ Choreographer of over 25 years- NY and Chicago. Key collaborator and lead choreographer and dancer Lexy Lattimore will bring her magic and expertise towards what will be a potent and powerful piece. The piece explores healing ancestral trauma, weaving several lineages and our collective path towards liberation and healing. 

Emerging from the lived experiences of the ensemble, the work asks: What do we carry that no longer belongs to us? How do we break patterns that keep us hiding, running, or repeating harm? What happens when we remember we belong to each other—and to the Earth?

The piece is a layered, living ritual—a response to a collective crisis—not only ecological or political, but spiritual. At its core, this piece is an offering: a ceremonial space for shared reckoning and renewal, ancestral remembrance, and embodied liberation.

 People should expect to be there the full 2 hours working together as a group.
